Packaging for capsules, tablets and powders
Application examplesVitamin capsules and tablets: PET packs
PET packs are the most popular form of packaging for food supplements in capsule or tablet form. The wide-necked screw-top tins are food-compliant and, because of their wide opening, are easy to fill and the capsules can also be removed again.
In the Packari Shop, PET packs are available in brown or white, and the lids come in a white, black or aluminium version. The cylindrical shape of the PET pack jars makes them perfect for labelling. Depending on the contents, you can choose between the 38/400 and 45/400 diameters for packaging vitamin capsules and tablets and the PET pack tins hold volumes from 100 to 250 ml.
Matching screw caps are also available with EPE or PS sealing insert. The PS (Pressure Sensitive) insert adheres to the edge of the cap after the first time it is closed, therefore providing tamper-evident protection. Similar protection is also provided by a PVC sleeve on the PET pack: If the cap is unscrewed or removed, the sleeve seal breaks and means you can immediately see if someone has tried to tamper with the product.
Protein powder: Snap-on lid tins
Perfect for the packaging of food supplements in powder form are our snap-on lid tins with first-opening guarantee: The round tins made of plastic don't need any plasticisers, making them food-safe and resealable.
And it goes without saying that this supplement packaging also has tamper-evident protection:
After filling, the snap-on lid is pressed onto the containers by machine or by hand. Afterwards, the snap-on lid tins can only be opened if the tamper-evident band (which covers the entire snap-on lid) is torn off.
In the Packari Shop, the food-safe plastic jars are available in the colour white and with volumes between 40 and 1100 ml. If you need a declaration of conformity, please note this in your order!
