As little packaging as possible, as much as necessary!

Packaging plays a crucial role in protecting the products we use every day. Packaging can be necessary, useful, pleasant, nice to look at and exciting. And it doesn’t have to be at odds with the environment in the process. It’s important that environmentally friendly packaging can be easily recycled after use and used to produce new materials.

At Packari.com, we try to align the weights and packaging materials of our sustainable shipping packaging with these considerations. We separate all waste materials and so recycle them in a sensible way.

What sets us apart

A sustainable strategy throughout.

Thinking and acting sustainably not only helps nature, and therefore all of us, but also our company!

For example, we placed great emphasis on the use of renewable energy in the construction of our new company building, putting us in a good position to weather the energy crisis.

We already included the first products made from R-PET in our product range in 2019 and have since expanded it further. Plastic packaging has so many advantages – why shouldn’t it be sustainable too?

Rethinking in the packaging market has now begun. We’re only at the beginning of a long road!

Sustainability

Sustainable – CO² neutral shipping

Swiss Post’s entire carbon footprint is audited annually by TÜV and offset through climate protection projects. Thanks to this initiative, all mail in Austria is CO² neutral.

Twice as much energy produced as consumed.

By installing our 200 KW/p PV system, we can cover all of our own electricity needs and feed surpluses into the public grid.

Heating and cooling with heat pumps.

We heat and cool our company building using heat pumps – this is particularly environmentally friendly thanks to self-generated PV electricity.

We consistently follow a path that conserves resources. Because that’s the only way Packari.com can grow sustainably!
